Osmo TopOil 500ml - White Satin 3037

Osmo TopOil White is a lightly tinted oil that adds a white hue to worktops for a brighter, whitewash or Scandinavian type finish. It subtly enhances the wood's natural beauty without overshadowing its inherent charm. It can be applied to a non-oiled or pre-oiled worktop purchased from Worktop Express.

This worktop oil creates a water-resistant barrier to prevent bowing and splitting but also ensures long-lasting protection for your worktop.

Osmo TopOil is renowned for its superior coverage compared to traditional Danish oils. Its food-safe, breathable, micro-porous finish resists cracking, peeling, and flaking, making it ideal for kitchen surfaces.

Periodically check the surface coating on your worktop to check it provides a beaded effect when wet - if not, apply one additional coat of Osmo TopOil to the clean, dry surface with an Osmo Lint Free Cloth.

Using this product:

• Worktops should be dry, dust-free and sanded to a maximum 150 grit
• Apply two coats for optimal coverage with Osmo Lint Free Cloths or the Osmo Hand Pad Holder and Osmo and Wood Oil Applicator Pad
• Allow 8-10 hours drying time between each application
• End grains and cut-outs will absorb oil more easily and will require the application of additional coats
• We recommend purchasing 500ml of Osmo TopOil per 3 linear metres of worktop
• Recoating is required when water is no longer beading on your worktops: generally this will be between 1-3 years and can be re-applied using the Osmo Wood Maintenance Pad and Osmo Hand Pad Holder

Please note: freshly oiled wooden surfaces typically require 2-3 weeks to fully cure and properly harden before they are ready for a traditional daily kitchen environment.
